Today I Pray....

...quietly
...with a humble heart
...overwhelmed by the sacrifice You made
...for people who believed in You
...and people who didn't

...words escape me

...today I pray quietly, with a humble, grateful heart.

The Journey

A breath of air
A single step
A joyful laugh
A tear

A hug, a kiss
"Be careful. Don't be late."

Cars whizzing
Strangers passing
New friends and old
Home sweet home

Shiny and new,
Job, city, love, home, family
Climbing the ladder
Walking the path

Sometimes by myself
Yet never alone

A breath of air
A single step
The journey begins and ends with You.



Today I pray for awareness. That I see and appreciate all the good that You present to me every day. That I embrace the journey with the passion that it deserves. That I stay focused on the infinite possibilities that exist because of You.

Hope and Promise

Many years of promises made.
Some kept, some broken.

Broken promises, broken spirit
Disappointments build within.

Those held true make spirits soar
Give hope and purpose renewed.

Today I pray for greater awareness of purpose,
That focus and resolve settle deep within me

...and reflect the Truth of Your unfailing hope and promise.

Find a Good Walking Buddy

People often ask, "What is the secret to a happy life?"

There is no secret.

Just remember to walk every day -- no matter what.
But don't ever walk alone. Find a good walking buddy -- you know the kind that:

• shows up rain or shine;
• motivates you to keep walking even when you feel like stopping;
• keeps perfect pace with you;
• will bend over and tie your shoe for you if it comes undone;
• has an unending supply of refreshing water for you to drink; and
• most importantly the One who will carry you when you can't walk another step.
  

A Shared Prayer

...I received this prayer today and rather than keep it to myself I decided I would share it with you.

May the peace of God and the freshness of the Holy Spirit rest in your thoughts, rule in your dreams tonight, and conquer all your fears. May God manifest Himself today in ways you have never experienced. May your joys be fulfilled, your dreams be closer, and your prayers be answered.

I pray that faith enters a new height for you. I pray for peace, healing, health, happiness, prosperity, joy, true and undying love for God.
