With each and every day we have the chance to discover a new blessing.
Today I pray for the peace within me to slow down and realize the many joys that I take for granted.
I pray for the words to show my appreciation for the wonderful people in my life.
I pray for open eyes to see the beautiful world around me.
I pray for a voice that makes a difference in some one's life.

Today I Pray...
...for a day of peace and rest with my family.
...for a quiet mind that embraces the day.
...that my friend who is hurting right now will remember that when she turns her troubles to God she will find strength to make it through.
...for her children who are hurting right now, that they remember that they are loved.
....for anyone out there who feels alone -- that you know in your heart that you will never walk alone.

Remember
I think sometimes in the rush of every day life, we lose sight of what really matters in life. So I thought I'd take a moment to share some simple reminders.
Remember the only one responsible for your happiness is you. It's a decision you make every minute of every day, and every day of your life
Remember that no matter what people say, you will never get where you want to, unless you start moving in the direction of your dreams.
When you're faced with a difficult decision that challenges your values -- remember to make choices you would be proud to share with your kids -- or your mother.
When you make a mistake, remember you are human and forgive yourself.
When someone lets you down, remember they are human too.
And most importantly of all -- Remember that God is walking with you ever step of the way -- whether you ask him to be there or not. So since He's with you, there's no sense walking in silence. Pray.

...that people will visit this blog and subscribe because they too believe in the power of prayer.
...that visitors will post a prayer intention so that others might pray for them.
...that visitors will know that no matter where they are, they are never alone.
...that one broken spirit will take comfort in these words.
...that God helps me quiet the overwhelming swell of ideas in my head so that I can direct my energy on that which is most important.
...that i open my ears to hear what God is asking me to do.
...that i remember to treasure the gift of today.
